About Dr. Erica McKenzie:
Dr. Erica McKenzie graduated from Murdoch
University Veterinary School in Western Australia in
1996 and has worked in several institutions in Canada
and the USA where camelids have always been part of
her clinical practice. She is a professor of large animal
internal medicine at Oregon State University where she
sees patients in the clinic, performs research (including
alpaca and llama topics) and teaches veterinary
students. She has been previously sponsored by both the Northwest Camelid Foundation and the Morris Animal Foundation for research in camelid medical topics.
